Breakthrough IE5+ Ferrite PM Electric motor Sustainable and Rare-earth free

Our mission is to help reduce global CO2 emissions with faster adoption of high efficiency electric motors by the market and replacement of lower efficiency motors.

We do this by enabling electric motor producers to produce hyper efficiency IE5+ electric motors via technology licence.

For electric motor producers: We offer consulting and technology to build IE5+ PM electric motors without rare earth metals from 37kW to 1mW. 

For electric motor buyers: We connect you with one of our partners producing the motors with our technology in order to get you the best motor for your application.

EKMO is a developing an electric motors for powers above 37kw.

The goal of the operation is to significantly reduce CO2 emissions made by the electric motors by increasing the adoption of electric motors with higher efficiency on the expense lower efficiency mainstream electric motors. 

We will do this by developing a SMPM electric motor which achieves IE5 efficiency standards without the use of any rare earth metals with the pricing that can compete with IE3 mainstream electric motor and scaling the production to increase the market share of high efficiency (IE5+) electric motors.
